Biography

Dr. Kunal Nagar is a general and interventional cardiologist who specialises in coronary
artery disease.

Kunal earned his medical degree from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences
(MUHS) in India in 2007 and moved to Australia in 2011. He received basic physician training at the Nepean Hospital Network and cardiology training at the Campbelltown-Liverpool
Hospital Network in Sydney, NSW.

He then underwent further intensive Interventional Cardiology training in 2022 in
Melbourne where he was awarded the Yean L. Lim Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.

Kunal is passionate about general cardiology, particularly the investigation and treatment of chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and primary
prevention.

He is dedicated to teaching and is actively involved in the mentoring of medical students,
basic physician trainees, and advanced cardiology trainees.

Dr. Nagar is a consultant cardiologist who takes pride in providing personalised, patient- centred care using the most up-to-date diagnostic and evidence-based treatments.

He is also fluent in Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi, in addition to English.
