Dr Joseph is a Staff Specialist in General Medicine at Campbelltown Public Hospital.

Dr Joseph completed cardiology training in Sri Lanka and was a board-certified cardiologist in Sri Lanka. He undertook an Interventional fellowship for 2 years at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney. Following his fellowship, he worked as Cardiology CMO at Coffs Harbour health Campus in Mid North coast of New South Wales for 10 years. Subsequently trained as a senior registrar in Cardiology at Campbelltown hospital to gain further skills. Dr Joseph is currently working as a staff specialist in the Department of Medicine at Campbelltown hospital.

Dr Joseph has developed extensive knowledge in the field of internal medicine and cardiology in the last 20 years in both Sri Lanka and Australia. He has worked in the city and in the rural areas of Australia and has managed acute and chronic medical problems.

Dr Joseph has a keen interest in general cardiology with a special interest in chest pain management and coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, and management of heart failure. He believes in holistic management to cardiac issues with a patient centered approach. He believes in good communication to the patient and to their family and is very committed to that in their management. Dr Joseph is committed to deliver the latest diagnostic and evidence-based treatment to all his patients.

He isactively involved in the mentoring of medical students, basic physician trainees and advanced trainees in cardiology.
